Lamar’s Newest innovation, the Hawkeye ERD | HD. This all in one unit provides variable speed Pan/Tilit/Zoom functions with an HD-SDI handoff.

The state of the art 1/2.5″ CMOS sensor provides 1080P/1080i/720P imaging sizes with stunning clarity, even in low light situations. This new sensor is ahead of the curve in terms of image reproduction quality.

The unit is housed in an all weather IP66 rated enclosure. It has an internal heater and blower to deal with the more extreme temperatures.

The camera has been designed to be extremely small (under 6 pounds)  and shock proof so that it can be used as an ENG mast cam. This includes functionality to mount the camera upside down when the project warrants.

Two wire RS-485 control makes cabling this camera extremely simple. And using Pelco D protocol, the units can be used with any of Lamar’s joystick options, as well as many other standard joystick controllers on the market.

The unit will pan 360° continuously so there are no “dead spots” on your deployments. With a maximum pan speed of 100° per second you’ll be able to set up your shot almost 3x faster than the competition.

The most attractive element in the ENG | HD is the price. We have developed this camera with our technology partners to try and provide a way for existing stations to retrofit their trucks with new HD camera systems that was both affordable and superior to other compact units.
