The Klearlink | HD uses a combination of a high performance embedded network processor, high gain/ high performance radio modules available for either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, the AirOS operating
system which is optimized for high performance wireless devices like the Klearlink | HD, and the AirMax™ TDMA protocol enabling scalable, carrier-class PtMP network performance. Providing a 100+ Mbps ASI* link for up to 20 miles.

Klearlink | HD incorporates an H.264 Encoder that can provide you with high quality Full HD (1080p) encoding with minimal latency. The codecs also utilize data back channels allowing you to pass RS-232 and RS-422/485 simultaneously for added flexibility in applications.  The ability to use the Klearlink | HD radios as an ASI pathway allows you to use the full bandwidth of the system for your ASI transport needs.

In real world testing, the Klearlink | HD, in a point to point bridge configuration, was able to achieve actual RTP stream throughput of 150Mbps with no data loss and no jitter on the 5 GHz band. 15 simultaneous RTP streams of 10Mbps were also tested and showed the same results: no jitter and no data loss.

The Klearlink | HD achieves these amazing results through the use of a non-blocking hardware architecture where the CPU, the wireless MAC/PHY, and the on-board system bus are all matched to one another. All elements of the architecture are balanced for maximum performance and throughput. The hardware is packaged in a small weatherproof enclosure and is powered by 802.3af compliant Power Over Ethernet (PoE).

Finally, the AirMAX TDMA wireless protocol, which is designed specifically to leverage the capabilities of the radio modules andAirOS operating system used in the Klearlink | HD provides reliable, high performance throughput without jitter, data delay or packet loss.
